My first exploration into the Apricot brand. This is an Apricot F1 a very small and quirky computer. It has a lot of features that show that it was ahead of it's time. A 3,5 inch disk drive, wireless keyboard and a weird way of powering the monitor.

The disk drive is sadly faulty, it's opening and closing mechanism seems to be swapped around. Making it very difficult to insert disks. I believe that this computer uses a non standard disk speed and format so that will prove an interesting project.

The seller of this computer was very kind! He had a nice display case with some interesting machines like a ZX spectrum and a Jupiter ACE which I always thought was a Apple II compatible but I was totally wrong on that. He told me it runs Forth and is very difficult to operate.

It came with two wireless keyboards but one appears to be not functional at this moment.
