AVT was a very small computer company that MSX Wiki wrote the following about: "AVT Electronics from The Hague, the Netherlands, was a distributor of re-branded MSX products, active on the Dutch and Belgian markets. The company was led by Lex van Tienhoven (which may explain the name AVT: Alexander Van Tienhoven)." I received a message from someone in Canada who had a computer from AVT and saw a couple of advertisements focused on Northern America, which might imply they also sold their computers there. I suspect the company started by building (possibly unlicensed) Apple II clones and then later focused on selling rebadged MSX computers.

I had the same when I saw the name AVT Comp 2 for the first time. These (yes I have two) computers are Apple II Compatible. Something that makes them extra special for me is the fact that they where made (for) by a Dutch Company called AVT  (Alex van Tienen) Electronics .

More on the Specs and their history will be added later.
